EPEX Day-Ahead Stroomprijzen België, Vandaag
View the current EPEX day-ahead electricity price for Belgium. The InduBa battery automatically buys electricity when the price is low or negative and discharges when the price is high.
Wat zijn EPEX day-ahead prijzen?
EPEX SPOT is the European energy exchange where electricity is traded per hour. Every day around 13:00 CET, prices for the following day are published. Belgium falls under the Belgian bidding zone (CWE) and prices are determined by supply and demand, including solar production, wind energy and industrial demand.
Prices can fluctuate sharply: from negative (when there is a surplus of renewable energy) to over €200/MWh during winter peaks. This volatility makes battery storage profitable: charge cheap, discharge dear.
Wat betekent dit voor uw batterij?
An InduBa battery charges automatically when electricity is cheap or free (€0 or negative EPEX price) and discharges when the price is high. The InduBa EMS does this entirely autonomously based on the day-ahead prices.
But the real saving is not only in the electricity price. The commodity electricity is often free, what you actually pay are the transport costs (grid tariffs, distribution charges, levies). By achieving more self-consumption with your battery and PV, you reduce these structurally rising costs.
