What we deliberately do not do
Some providers promise additional revenue through FCR (frequency containment reserve), aFRR or the imbalance market. Sounds attractive. But it means your battery is not available for your own peaks at critical moments, because it is busy stabilising the Belgian electricity grid.
We make a different choice. Your battery works for your business. Not for Elia. Not for an aggregator. Not for a trader.
Every kWh in your battery stands ready for your peaks, your self-consumption, your cost optimisation. That delivers more than the fee Elia pays for frequency services.
Would you still like to participate in FCR, aFRR or the imbalance market? You are entirely free to do so. The hardware supports it and the InduBa EMS does not block this. We do not recommend it as standard, but the choice is yours.
Reactive energy monitoring and correction. Fluvius charges €0.0134 per kVArh when reactive energy exceeds the permitted level. This adds up quickly for businesses with motors, compressors or welding machines. The InduBa EMS continuously monitors your cos phi and corrects automatically via the inverter. No penalties, no manual intervention.
